I absolutely loved that the Fourth of July was on a Monday this year! This made for such a fun and long (in a good way) weekend. JP even got the whole thing off, which is totally rare. We spent the weekend going to the drive-in theater, taking Olive swimming, trying to snatch candy for Olive at the parade (fail), enjoying the festivals, and wearing red, white, and blue four days in a row. We really love our country…can you tell?!;)
I’m a little bit behind lately. It’s been a lot of fun getting settle in to our new home, but oh so much work! Olive is currently taking a nap, and I ran across these photos from JP’s graduation week in Seattle. One of our last nights there we decided to take a stroll by the water, and we didn’t get very far with this little, future geologist. She is so obsessed with rocks! If we pass any kind of loose gravel, we have to stop so that she can examine them. Cheap entertainment I guess ;).
Wow! I cannot believe that graduation has come and gone. I honestly never thought this day would come! Somehow we survived the last four years and are moving on to residency. I cannot express how much I have grown to love all of the students and families that we were able to go through it all with. The University of Washington has showed us a great time, and we are super excited to see what Rochester brings…. Read The Post
